Would you like to join a group of couples who love to dance to Modern Sequence Dances (a form of dancing using ballroom steps as the basis for a wide variety of dances)?
A small group of couples already participate in this, but would like more members to join in.
They meet every Wednesday at the bar Quo Vadis where they are made very welcome, dancing summer and winter.
John and Pat would love to welcome new members to this group and are very willing to help beginners to learn the dances. Dance is the perfect exercise because it not only keeps the body active but it ensures that the brain keeps active too and is a great way to have fun and make new friends.
If you are interested in joining, contact the Group Leader on the email address at the top of this page.

The Modern Sequence Dance group enjoyed a romantic St Valentine’s evening at Quo Vardis on Wednesday. The room was decorated with heart shaped balloon’s and John and Pat played some romantic waltzes to dance the night away.
During the interval, when we managed to eat most of the cake decorated with more hearts, John organised a game involving our valentines cards. Our new members Marg and Les stole the prize by scoring the lowest of us all.
We are hoping that the new members who had prior engagements this week will come again next Wednesday from 19:00-21:00 and encourage more Jávea U3A members to join us to learn this fascinating type of dance.
