Day Trip to Valencia November 2013

On Thursday 14th November, the Travel Group organised another day trip to the City of Valencia. We were dropped opposite the railway station and the day was ours to do as we pleased. After the obligatory refreshment stop, a group of us decided to visit the Museo de Ceramica. We were expecting lots of displays of tiles, pots and such like. How wrong we were.

The Museo is located in the Palacio del Marqués de Dos Aguas and has been a museo since 1954. The palace was declare a national monument in 1941. It is decorated with amazing ceiling painting, especially in the private appartments of the Marqués. It also has a fine collection of "Patio Carriages".
